Welcome to To-Pher Cattery, where we raise Siamese & Balinese Cats! We are a small Siamese & Balinese home cattery,
and we are located in Suisun City, California (CA).  We are located in the Bay area, California CA, less than an hours
drive from Vallejo, Sacramento, San Jose, Monterey & San Francisco, California.  A few hours drive from Lake Tahoe, San
Diego, Bakersfield and Los Angeles, California CA.  We raise CFA registered Traditional top quality Siamese kittens, and
we also raise Balinese kittens (long haired Siamese).  Our Siamese Kittens & Balinese Kittens are for sale year round in
California CA, and in other states (where shipping is available).

Siamese cats and Siamese kittens are beautiful, majestic, and enchanting ; they are also great family pets.  Siamese cats and
kittens are extremely intelligent, loyal, loving, extremely vocal, playful and get along great with children.  The only difference
between a Siamese and a Balinese is the length of their coat.  The Balinese has semi-long hair that does not matt, it's a
beautiful soft velvety textured type of fur,  Balinese cats and kittens are excellent, and quite fancy.  I have found that by
regularly brushing our cats & kittens coats, they tend to shed less on our furniture and clothing.  Our cats & kittens are also
accustomed to playing on kitty condos or kitty trees.  We train the kittens to scratch our cat scratching posts, rather than
our furniture.  Our cats and kittens are fed a healthy, high quality food called "Life's Abundance".  We use the kitten/cat
formula for our kittens & adults.  Our cats and kittens are supplemented with "NuVet Plus for Felines" vitamins.  The
vitamins contain antioxidants which eliminates free radicals and boost the immune system creating a preventive against skin
and coat problems, scratching, itching, hot spots, allergies, arthritis, premature aging, low energy levels, cataracts, digestive
problems, heart disease and tumors.  This all in return, will minimize your cat's visit to the Vet's office, and extend your
cat's natural lifespan.  We strongly recommend this product. This product can only be ordered through breeder referral.

Our Siamese cats & Balinese cats & kittens are raised around our child and are never raised in cages.  At an early age we
begin to brush their coats and clip their nails so that when they go to their new homes they will be de-sensitized to the
process, and so that they will never be subjected to a de-clawing procedure.  We believe that great socialization starts first in
the home so we won't ever cage raise a kitten.  Our Siamese kittens & Balinese kittens and cats are guaranteed to be FeLV
and FIV negative.  We provide a 72-hour health guarantee, and a one-year hereditary/congenital defect guarantee.  Our
cattery is flea free...so you wont get any pesky critters from us!

Please let us know what color points you are looking for in a Siamese kitten or Balinese kitten, and we will put you on our
waiting list when one becomes available if one is not readily available.  We interview all potential buyers before we allow
them to purchase our kittens.  We have a contract agreement which gives more details in regards to the purchase and
commitment to one of our Siamese kittens and Balinese kittens.

We carry the following colors (points); Seal point, Chocolate Point, Lilac Point, and Blue Point.  All of our Siamese kittens
& Balinese kitten's eyes are blue and tantalizing, we have even had kittens with DEEP blue eyes mixed with sparkling tints
of violet.  Our Siamese kittens & Balinese kittens are specifically bred to have great temperaments, high intelligence &
great health.  Our motive is to preserve the breed and enhance the Traditional Siamese/Balinese lines, and to produce nice
round-headed cats.  Our passion is to see our kittens go to great and deserving loving homes, to live their lives in happiness
and contentment.  Our Siamese kittens and Balinese kittens are for sale only to loving and committed homes.  As

A Good Start = A Happy Kitten

Siamese kittens, like puppies, have a sensitive period of socialization during which they are more open to new and novel
experiences. That time period in Siamese kittens is 3-9 weeks. However, it is best to get a Siamese kitten at 8-12 weeks old so
that it is weaned and has time to learn some valuable “cat” lessons from its mother. Therefore, when acquiring a Siamese
kitten the more you can learn about the early history the better. When picking a Siamese kitten, watch for a healthy, active
Siamese kitten that readily approaches and does not hiss or try to bite when you pick it up.

In the most recent research on Siamese cat social behavior, it was noted that social groupings in Siamese cats often consisted
of related females (mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and grandmothers). So based on this research two Siamese female litter
mates would probably do best. However, I bet you could talk to many people who will say that mixed sex pairings work well
also On occasion two male cats may fight even if neutered, but many live together and do just fine.

Each one, a Siamese kitten or a full-grown Siamese cat has their pros and cons. When you obtain a full-grown Siamese cat,
you miss the possibly annoying behaviors of Siamese kittens such as climbing up on things inappropriately; investigative play
which can be problematic and perhaps some wild behaviors. With a Siamese kitten, you get the opportunity to shape behaviors
as they emerge and see the changes that take place as the Siamese kitten grows. In either case, the main component that is the
same is where you obtain your companion. The more you know about the previous home, the way the Siamese kitten or
Siamese cat was raised, how they interacted with people, did they use the litter box appropriately for starters, the better
prepared you will be to welcome your new feline companion. The choice is really yours.

When combining a Siamese kitten and a child several considerations are important. The first is parental supervision. Children
may not know the proper way to handle a Siamese kitten and inadvertently scare or hurt it and this could result in a defensive
reaction. Second, it is helpful to try and match the personality of the child and the Siamese kitten. A boisterous child would
overwhelm a quiet and shy kitten and a very active kitten may intimidate a shy child. In any case each one needs time away to
rest, and regroup. With planning and supervision, Siamese kittens and kids can do just fine.

When picking a Siamese kitten it is always helpful to see the environment and parents. Siamese Kittens inherit some of their
personality traits from their father, so knowing the father is helpful. Research has also indicated that early handling of Siamese
kittens (between 3-7 weeks of age) resulted in Siamese kittens more likely to approach strangers. Look for Siamese kittens that
are friendly, outgoing and do not struggle, hiss or bite when gently handled. Be sure the coat looks shiny, the eyes are clear and
ask to see the litter box to look for any diarrhea. Avoid Siamese kittens that are hiding, shy or act sluggish. Then, just go with
the one you think is the cutest!

There is not really a particular kind of Siamese kitten that is good for an active household, rather a certain personality type. A
Siamese kitten with a bold, friendly and active personality would probably do better in an active home than a shy, timid one.
Personality is inherited with a great deal of influence from the father. So, when picking a Siamese kitten, meeting the father
may give some idea as to the future personality of the Siamese kitten. In addition, the time when Siamese kittens are most
easily socialized to people is between 3-7 weeks, so getting a kitten at about 8 weeks and from an environment most like your
home would also be helpful.

There are many things that are important when obtaining a Siamese kitten. First, make sure the home where you get the
Siamese kitten from is clean and sanitary. It also would be helpful to meet the parents since personality is inherited from them.
Siamese Kittens that are handled when they are very young tend to be more social and friendly so finding out this piece of
information might be helpful as well. Finally, make sure you have enough time in your life to meet the social
and play needs of your new housemate.

Siamese kittens handled 20 minutes each day during their first 30 days of life opened their eyes earlier and emerged from their
nesting box earlier than litter mates not handled that way.
